The idea of the Oscar table is to create a design table, that brings out the memory of a great modernist brazilian architect and designer, Oscar Niemeyer.
The product takes inspiration from the Cathedral of Brasilia, made by the swooping columns of the which form a coronal shape called a hyperboloid structure. The semi-hexagonal shaped glass top combined with the hyperboloid structure in solid wood. The glass top also has a bisected detail in order to create more dynamism as Oscar Niemeyer also used to do with his pieces.
